About the Artist
Annette Morris is a British artist and urban sketcher based in Languedoc, south of France.
Her work captures the lights, colours and energy of daily French life and the landscape, towns and villages that are a continual source of inspiration to her.
Primarily using watercolour, Annette has developed a magical approach to her paintings, often combining bright washes of colour with ink, other mediums and alternative techniques. Visit the Exhibitions page for details of upcoming shows.
With outstanding reviews for her workshops both in person and online, Annette also offers art workshops and sketching retreats in France throughout the summer months. She is an active volunteer supporting the global Urban Sketchers community, the founder and current admin of the Languedoc chapter and a member of the Executive Board.

We bought one of your prints in September and I wanted to let you know we just got it back from the framers – and it looks wonderful.

I asked Annette to paint a picture of my furry friend, Miette. The process was very simple. I sent her a few photos, but she also wanted to know a bit about my cat to get a feel for her, which came across in the painting. What she produced was truly delightful, and I have enjoyed showing it to friends.
