My husband and I had already bought four of Annette’s sketches before we attended an exhibition of hers in last January. We were completely blown away by all her work and bought two more. If we had more wall space available we would have loved to buy more and had real trouble deciding which two would make the cut! They bring us a great deal of pleasure and we are so glad that we were able to pick them up before the current lockdown.

If you look for a day that can make you completely happy, then join a sketching class with Annette Morris – it was so much fun, also lovely relaxing, surrounded by nice people, it was just great! I spent a wonderful day in Montpellier at one of Annette’s beginner workshops. I’m amazed at how much I learned in just a few hours. Annette is a great teacher and really made me feel comfortable – I have gone from thinking “I just can’t draw”, to “I CAN, and it’s fun!”. Annette gave so many useful little tips along the way, which made all the difference to my feeling capable and wanting to continue sketching. Added bonus: I now have a lovely souvenir of the beautiful Montpellier architecture!

I asked Annette to paint a picture of my furry friend, Miette. The process was very simple. I sent her a few photos, but she also wanted to know a bit about my cat to get a feel for her, which came across in the painting.
