Mes cours d'introduction vous montrent comment apercevoir votre sujet et le mettre sur papier. C’est le premier pas que beaucoup de gens n’ont jamais appris. Le plus simple c'est le mieux. Il n’y a ni bon ni mauvais dessin. C'est à propos de vous et de l'image que vous voyez.
En tant que sketcher, vous voulez apprendre. Vous voulez sentir vos pouvoirs artistiques grandir. Vous souhaitez faire partie d'une communauté qui vous inspirera, incitera à surmonter des obstacles créatifs, et célébrera vos avancées. Faisons-le ensemble!

This was a great workshop by one of my favourite watercolour artists. The pace was fast (although I do appreciate the time restraints) and I was able to follow along for most of it and then complete any finishing touches afterwards. The PDF was a welcome addition as a step by step guide too.

I spent a wonderful day in Montpellier at one of Annette’s beginner workshops. I’m amazed at how much I learned in just a few hours. Annette is a great teacher and really made me feel comfortable – I have gone from thinking « I just can’t draw », to « I CAN, and it’s fun! ». Annette gave so many useful little tips along the way, which made all the difference to my feeling capable and wanting to continue sketching. Added bonus: I now have a lovely souvenir of the beautiful Montpellier architecture!

Annette is an excellent teacher, supportive and attentive to each student’s needs.
I produced better pictures than I had anticipated but my holiday was absolutely crucial for me in deciding the direction in which I wanted my art to go. I shall always be very grateful to Annette for that.
